DJ Marc (aka DJ Marquis):
Born and raised in Philadelphia, my musical love affair began at age 5 when I started digging through my parents vinyl collection. At age 6, I experienced the magic of my first live concert (at The Mann Music Center). That magic was the foundation for my lifelong passion for music. In elementary school I joined Chorus, and started playing trumpet in the orchestra, making my way to the coveted 1st chair by 8th grade.
In high school, I taught myself guitar and co-founded the Philly-based hard rock band ‘Noosphere’, where I was lead singer/frontman. We tore up stages all across the tri-state area until 2004, building a loyal fanbase and leaving a trail of electrifying performances in our wake.
In 2010, I decided to combine my musical knowledge and skills as a frontman, vocalist and hype man, and entered into the world of DJing. Now, as DJ Marc (aka DJ Marquis), I bring that same passion and energy to every event. I’ve been called the “Human Jukebox” for my freakish ability to remember lyrics, riffs, and melodies. These skills help me create unforgettable mashups and mixes that keep the dance floor jumping all night long.
For me, it’s more than just playing songs… It’s also telling a story through sound. My goal is to ALWAYS bring the party to life! With my background as a trained vocalist and skills as a natural hype man, I know how to read a room and elevate the vibe. Whether it’s a packed dance floor or an intimate celebration, I make sure every event hits the perfect note.
When it comes to weddings, private parties, and special events, I’m not just in it for the fun … I’m in it for the love of music, the joy of connection, and the memories I make on the dance floor. I look forward to creating magic at your next event!

DJ Marquis (DJ Marc) was a part of our wedding this past summer and I couldn't imagine our day without him in it. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and customize our wedding play list to fit the ambiance of the evening. His transitions between songs were flawless and he never missed a beat. DJ Marquis is so much more than a wedding DJ, he's an entertainer, talented musician, crowd pleaser, and an all around amazing person to work with. I still get complimented on our wedding entertainment and how custom and personalized the DJ made everyone feel. He had everyone engaged from start to finish and at the end guests still wanted more. Zachary - Hands down best DJ ever
Marc gave us the absolute best time as our DJ. He kept the energy flowing and high for 4 straight hours. We had dozens of guests say to us after our wedding that he was the best DJ, and several of my friends will be utilizing his services for their own weddings. He was just incredible! I highly recomend him for your next event, he was easy to work with and his pricing was very reasonable. |

Marc did an amazing job at our wedding!!! From day one he was professional, responsive, and very helpful. We told him generally what music we wanted to hear, along with a few of our must play songs, but left most of it up to him. He absolutely knocked it out of the park! Not only was he great at reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor, he looked like he was having just as much fun as we were! So many of our guests commented about how much enthusiasm and energy he brought to the table. I cannot say enough good things about him, and would absolutely hire him for another event!

Marc is amazing! He did our wedding all the way in Clark’s Summit, PA. He read the room like the pro he is and had our dance floor packed all night. He was a pleasure to work with, I really can’t say enough to describe how amazing he made our night. He even held my baby when we were lining up for the processional!! She loved him too:) 
Michael - The Best This past February our non profit worked with the Tim Tebow Foundation to put on a Night To Shine event. It's a prom experience for those with special needs. We needed a great DJ to ensure that all 500 guests had a great time. And boy did we find one!
Marc was incredibly responsive and professional. He also did an amazing job and kept the party going! Everyone had a blast! We just can't say enough good things about DJ Marc. Thank you thank you thank you!! 
Kendra - He Had Me At Hello, LOL
From our first phone call I knew DJ Marc would be absolutely fantastic and he was. He was very responsive and accommodating and willing to do whatever it took to make our day special. I needed the song I was walking down the aisle to cutdown and edited and he did it fast and well (other DJ's I'd interviewed told me that wasn't possible). His suggestions and music list that he sent ensures the music you want will be played at your wedding. I highly recommend hiring him for your special day!

Meghan - He Was The Life of the Party!
Marc kept our dancefloor bumping all night! Marc was able to provide two top quality wireless microphones for our ceremony. He curated the pre-ceremony music and the entire cocktail hour music. I asked for instrumental covers for pre-ceremony and songs like guardians of the galaxy for cocktail hour and he delivered!! We understand everyone has slightly different preferences when it comes to music and when we requested slightly different transitions Marq adjusted that immediately. We really appreciate his ability to accommodate our requests. Everyone loved Marc's enthusiasm and how he jams out to his music and gets the crowd going.

I can't recommend Marc highly enough! He listened keenly to what sort of vibe we were after at our wedding and delivered beyond our expectations. He was flexible and covered all of our needs from ceremony to cocktails through to the end of our reception. Dozens of guests have made comments post wedding to how good the music was, and how the dancefloor was full all night. I'll be using Marc for any DJ services we need in the future, and would absolutely recommend you booking him for your wedding, party, or anytime you need a DJ. Thanks Marc!

We hired DJ Marc (aka DJ Marquis) for our wedding. I knew after seeing him DJ my sister's wedding that he would be a perfect fit for ours. He had an amazing upbeat, energentic, friendly personality. He never played a song request without coming to myself or my husband first and ok-ing it with us and I loved that! He also involved my 2 small children by having them be "guest djs". My kids were thrilled! I would highly recommend him and would absolutely use him again in the future if I'm ever in need of a DJ!
